Char Cottage was lovely, clean and well equipped. It is set in a quiet location amongst other cottages. The only criticism of the cottage itself is that the blinds on the window let in a lot of light and I think that heavier blinds or some curtains would be beneficial, also the shower doorway is quite narrow for a bigger person to negotiate. AlthouRead moregh it states that the beach, pub and shops are within walking distance I would dispute that unless you are extremely fit! Transport is essential. Hide

A really lovely cottage. Very clean and comfortable. Peaceful with beautiful small garden and superb view. Well located for visiting local areas although we felt a car was essential.

Negatives: Heating was off prior to arrival, so property was like an ice box for almost 24hrs. Thin blind means room is light throughout the night - maybe a positive as too much furniture to bump into at night in such a small space. Tv had limited channels available. Positives: Lovely, quiet location & close to Charmouth. Well equipped kitchen.

Lovely chalet, and comfy bed, good walks into charmouth and lyme regis, but very steep. Hotel only serves food at 7pm and you have to pre order by 4pm, so not good if a last minute decision. Lots of rivalry between hotel and chalets, and you need to book swimming pool between 10.00-12.00 in the morning. However we enjoyed our short stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Little Char, it was comfortable and had everything we needed, the pool at the hotel was a bonus. Well situated for Charmouth and Lyme Regis with the bus and park and ride making Lyme Regis particularly accessible without parking in town. We would return to Little Char.

Lovely property. Surprisingly well heated. Beautiful gardens and views. Each cottage has it's own garden area and reasonably private access. We understand the property had recently been flooded and our clothes did get damp. Found the dehumidifier as we were leaving. Redecoration very good. All in all lovely comfortable property which provided all wRead moree needed. Thank you. Hide

Small but very comfortable space. Excellent bed-so comfy. Nice quite estate with some lovely walks for the dog. Only issue was the warnings about ticks in the long grass which were actually dead right! Had to make sure the dog got his 'spot on' after just one walk-found at least 3 ticks. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable weeks stay, nice and quiet.
